Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, the flagship of the Africa Albida Tourism hospitality group, was acclaimed, in the Conde Nast Traveler 2012 Gold List, as one of Africa’s finest safari lodges. Few lodges can surpass its sublime location.

Situated on a plateau just 4km from the majestic Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, the award-winning Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, surrounded by the wilds of Africa, offers an unforgettable experience.

The sunset-facing 72-room Victoria Falls Safari Lodge offers endless views of African bush stretching to the horizon, which includes a waterhole frequented by elephants, buffalo, kudu, and other wildlife, as well as a wide variety of birds.

Built of thatch and timber, Victoria Falls Safari Lodge rises seven levels, giving the impression of a vast open-plan tree house. The central area features the award-winning MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant, the famous Buffalo Bar, a two-tiered swimming pool, and a fitness room, all of which offer magnificent views of over African bushveld and the wildlife-rich waterhole.

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge Accommodation

There are three different room types: the Lodge Standard Room, the Lodge Waterhole Facing Room, and the Lodge Waterhole Facing Suites.

All rooms are spacious and light, with glass sliding doors opening onto private balconies with unrivalled views of the bushveld at sunset. Most rooms also overlook a central waterhole, providing the opportunity to observe herds of game quenching their thirst.

When opting for a Standard Room, walk into earthy-coloured rooms attached with a walk-in shower and en-suite bathroom. The balconies face westward, adjusting the mesmerizing sunset views of the African bush into the picture.
Lodge Waterhole Facing Room shares similar characteristics to Lodge Standard Rooms. The direct views of the onsite waterhole are a cherry on top in the 42 Lodge Waterhole Facing Room. Guests are awe-struck with the experience of watching wildlife whilst in private space on the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge balcony.
Lodge Waterfall Facing Suites flaunts a whopping six duplex construction downstairs, leading to the lounge that opens into a private balcony and guest toilet. The open staircase will take you to a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a separate shower, and a luxury bath.
