As expected wine tasting is high on the agenda at Mont Rochelle. The wine tram is a popular way to see the town of Franschhoek whilst sampling some of the finest wines in the region. There are plenty of other activities to enjoy during your stay including hiking and for the thrill seekers mountain biking. For those needing a bit of down time the pool is the perfect spot to take in the panoramic views of the Dassenberg Mountains followed by a spa treatment from our in house spa. From lawn games to tennis there's plenty of activities for everyone to get involved in.

A favourite activity for many of our guests is picnicking on the estate – the kitchen can arrange a well-stocked picnic basket with a chilled bottle of wine (or two!). There are two restaurants, a cosy bar, a spa, a gym and a heated outdoor pool. That’s not forgetting a 39 hectare vineyard and wine cellar of course.
